Happy First Birthday!

Hafenfest in Hamburg

We took the opportunity to go to the Hamburger Hafenfest (Harbor Festival) while one of my former work colleagues from Siemens was visiting. It was great to see Claudia and Marcus! We enjoyed seeing the boats and enjoying the festive atmosphere on the Elbe in Hamburg's harbor and Speicherstadt (warehouse district).

Altes Land

We went to Jork on May Day. It was sunny in the morning and stormy in the afternoon. We loved the beauty of a rainy/sunny day and the opportunity to see the different shades of green and gray. Altes Land is known for its orchards and in the spring, the fruit tree blossoms. Luckily, we happened upon a town festival in Jork.
